So I'm back, not that my absence is noticeable given how inactive I was anyway. A lot is different from my last journal. In October 2008 I was diagnosed with stage 5 kidney failure. Apparently I was about 10 days away from passing away in my sleep, so that was interesting. I started on dialysis, for the first year and a half doing it four times a day, and then for about a month doing the tough stuff, the hemo version that you do a few times per week but you end up in the hospital for 6 or 7 hours and it whacks you out for another half a day.
